1-800-TruckWreck, powered by Witherite Law Group, is partnering with For Oak Cliff to distribute 2,500 backpacks at the nonprofit’s back-to-school festival Aug. 9, according to a press release.

The backpacks, sponsored by Witherite Law Group, will be filled with school supplies valued at a total of over $65,000.
“I’m thrilled to join forces with an impactful organization such as For Oak Cliff, whose
commitment to serve Dallas students and their families is done with such intention,” Amy Witherite, owner of 1-800-TruckWreck and Witherite Law Group, stated in the release. “Their
grassroots reach and holistic programming make them an ideal partner to invest in for the
success of the next generation.”
The event will offer live entertainment, free food, games, health and community resource booths, and a guest appearance by radio personality Jazzi Black from 97.9 The Beat. It will start 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at For Oak Cliff Community Center.
