Kessler Park United Methodist Church hosts Scout-a-palooza, a showcase of all things scouting, from 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27.
The event includes all of this: Live music, supersoaker/water balloon fights, ultimate Frisbee, zipline, caveman golf, tomahawk throwing and rope bridges.
I’m gonna glaze right over tomahawk throwing here and ask: Does anyone know what caveman golf is?
There will also be food and refreshments, plus a screening of “Muppet Treasure Island” at dusk. “Pirate attire optional,” according to the media release.
Everyone is welcome to attend this free event.
