Gearing up for Earth Day with art contest for children

164257_10151398208943314_170829331_nThe North Oak Cliff Library and Oak Cliff Earth Day are sponsoring an art contest for children in kindergarten through 12th grades.

The “Save Our Species!” art contest asks children to draw inspiration from a plant or animal species that has gone extinct in the past 100 years.

The deadline to submit artwork is 6 p.m., Friday, March 28. Here is the online entry form.

Oak Cliff Earth Day is Saturday, April 12 at Lake Cliff Park.
