Buy a ticket for CONFAB, vote for Lake Cliff Park

Screen shot 2014-06-03 at 3.15.04 PMLake Cliff Park and the proposed disc golf course at adjacent Founder’s Park are up for a $10,000 grant from the Dallas Parks Foundation.

CONFAB 2014, the foundation’s annual symposium on the city’s green spaces, is at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 5, at Dallas City Performance Hall. Representatives from the city’s parks will give spiels no longer than one minute, and attendees will vote to decide who gets the ten grand.

“We would like to spend the money to put the back nine holes of the disc golf course so we would be able to have a complete course between Founders and Lake Cliff,” says Liz Goulding of the Lake Cliff Neighborhood Association.

So buy a $13 ticket, learn all about Dallas parks and vote for Lake Cliff.
