‘When Dallas Rocked’ to air on KERA

Oak Cliff-based documentary filmmaker Kirby Warnock debuted his movie “When Dallas Rocked” at the Texas Theater last October.

The movie tells the story of the rock-n-roll scene in Dallas in the ’70s and ’80s, when this was the hub of rock music in the Southwest.

The film makes its television debut at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, on KERA.
