La Rondalla payday, stream Unconcious Collective

Edwin Cabaniss and Jeffrey Liles of the Kessler Theater donated a portion of the proceeds from the North Oak Cliff Music Festival to La Rondalla, the free music school at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center.

Teachers at La Rondalla include the members of Unconcious Collective — Aaron Gonzalez, Stefan Gonzalez and Gregg Prickett — all of whom live in Oak Cliff.

Pop culture website Dangerous Minds gushed about Unconcious Collective’s new album, “Pleistocene Moon.” The album itself is a work of art. The website calls it “the single most beautiful vinyl record I’ve ever laid eyes on.”

Sounds like we should all be buying this record. In the meantime, Dangerous Minds is streaming it.
