Masked robbers entered an apartment near Kimball High School last week and stole a woman’s purse and shot her adult son.
The Dallas Police Department believes the robbers followed the victims home from a grocery store Wednesday night.
Three men entered the apartment on Springwood Lane and grabbed the woman’s purse. When her son entered from a bedroom, he was shot in the leg and abdomen. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition but was expected to survive.
The robbers fled in a Chevy Impala. Police stopped the car, found the purse and arrested one person, according to KDFW.
