Two free tours coming up next week explore historic buildings in Oak Cliff.
Preservation Dallas and Heritage Oak Cliff tour the LARC building, a mid 20th century office building at 2151 Fort Worth Ave. That starts at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 31.
The LARC building currently is for sale, and the broker is looking for a “preservation-minded” buyer.

Then from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, June 2, they’ll host a walking tour of Jefferson Boulevard. Meet at the Texas Theatre, where Barak Epstein will offer history on the theater, and coffee will be provided. The tour will leave on a walking tour of historic buildings and return to the theater.
Both events are free and open to the public.
