Sunset Hill neighborhood plans concert series

The Sunset Hill neighborhood is getting organized, and they’re helping Calvary church plan a free concert series.

Sunset Summer Sunday Nights begin June 17 — that’s Father’s Day — with Souled Out, starting at 7 p.m. Adam Paul Williams performs July 15. Both of those concerts are in the sanctuary at Calvary Oak Cliff, Tenth and Waverly. Four Twelve performs Aug. 12. That one is an outdoor concert, with hot dogs, popcorn and beverages available for purchase.

The church is looking for more artists, “secular or sacred,” to perform this summer. If you’re interested, contact worship@calvaryoakcliff.org.
