Repotted out, Brumley Gardens in

Repotted, the gardening store on West Davis at Van Buren, announced on its website that it will close at the end of July.

Co-owner Jamie Laws told Pegasus News that the business, which opened in September 2010, has been behind on rent.

The good news, according to the Pegasus story, is that another locally owned garden shop is taking over the space. Lake Highlands-based Brumley Gardens is moving in next month.

Way to go Brumley’s.   Saving an old landmark like this is fantastic.  Now…..how about if you open on at the Yellow Tire Store at Audelia and Walnut Hill….but we would like it to look like this old service station!
