Arrest after stabbing and 6-hour standoff

A crime that began around 9 p.m. Monday finally ended six hours later when Dallas police arrested a man suspected of attacking three people with a blade, CBS DFW reports.

When police arrived to the 2800 block of East Prosperity Avenue, there were three victims standing outside with minor to moderate cuts. All are expected to recover.

The yet-to-be-named suspect remained locked inside the house. SWAT teams soon arrived on scene to oversee the standoff. The man eventually gave himself up around 3 a.m.
