Oak Cliff-based artist Frank Reaugh was born Dec. 29, 1860, and the Dallas Public Library is celebrating his 155th birthday.

Filmmaker Marla Fields recently released a documentary about Reaugh. She and others involved with the film will be on hand during the celebration with a behind the scenes look at the film, “Frank Reaugh: Pastel Poet of the Texas Plains.”

Join Fields and other Reaugh experts, including storyteller Robert Reitz of Oak Cliff, at 4:30 p.m Tuesday, Dec. 29, at the Shirley Philipson Pollock Performance Space on the fourth floor of the Downtown library.
