National Geographic photographer Joel Sartore gives a talk at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, in the Bishop Dunne Catholic School Library. Sartore has written several books and has photographed for National Geographic for 20 years. He focuses on documenting endangered species. His appearance is part of the school’s GeoTech conference.

The annual fundraiser for Twelve Hills Nature Center, “Grape Expectations,” is from 7-10 p.m. Saturday at a home in Stevens Park. Tickets cost $40.

RAFT, the Oak Cliff-based group focused on showcasing the treasures of the Trinity River, leads a hike to an ancient Comanche storytelling place in southeast Dallas at 4 p.m. Sunday.

The Texas Theatre’s weekend offerings include a Rocky Horror Picture Show-themed burlesque show.
