Winnetka robotics team heads to nationals

The Winnetka Elementary School robotics team won first place at the state competition recently, and they’re now headed to national and world competitions.

The team also won the excellence award, which is the highest award given.

The team will travel by bus to contests in Council Bluffs, Iowa April 7-9 and to Louisville, Ky. April 20-23. The school district is providing transportation and hotel costs for the students.
