A 29-year-old Oak Cliff man is accused of shooting two people on South Vernon near Kiest Thursday.

The Dallas Police Department charged Cortez Bowser with murder in the death of David Sanchez, 33. He also is accused of aggravated assault in the shooting of Louis Serna, 31.

Police say Bowser had some dispute with the men. He arrived at their apartment at 3311 S. Vernon around midnight. A victim told police Bower was invited in. He used the restroom, and upon exiting, he shot the two men.

Police arrested Bowser later that day for an unrelated felony domestic violence warrant. He has been charged with murder and aggravated assault and is being held in lieu of $150,o00 bond.
