Labor Day crash kills two at Hampton and Ledbetter

Two people were killed in a car crash on Hampton at Ledbetter around 4:30 p.m. Monday.

Hilda Torres and Julio Lopez, both 46, died at the scene, according to NBC DFW. Two others, including a child, were injured.

The TV station reports that a witness stated two cars were racing on Hampton.

A Jack-in-the-Box cashier told them:

The cars that were racing didn’t stop, so they hit the back of that car and made them fly into 7-Eleven and the light pole, hitting the parked Jaguar.
