A man wearing a floppy hat held up the Family Dollar store at 3100 Fort Worth Avenue near Westmoreland this past Wednesday.
The man walked into the store around 1:15 p.m. Aug. 31, approached a cashier and demanded money at gunpoint. He then fled on foot.
The suspect is described as 20-30 years old, 6 feet tall and about 190 pounds.
We noticed the hat and the chin hair look similar to those of the robber who held up a pawn shop on Fort Worth Avenue three times between Sept. 2015 and January of this year.
Police say those earlier robberies have not yet been solved.
