Hampton intersections among Texas’ most dangerous

Three intersections along Hampton Road are among the most dangerous traffic crossings in Texas, according to data recently compiled.

Hampton at Jefferson, Illinois and Wheatland are listed among 34 troublesome intersections in Dallas.

The data comes from attorney Brian White, who compiled collision data from the Texas Department of Transportation between 2012-2015.

During that time, there were 225 crashes at Hampton and Wheatland, 221 crashes at Hampton and Jefferson and 180 crashes at Hampton and Illinois.

This information is unlikely to surprise anyone who commutes on Hampton, which is one of the busiest thoroughfares in Dallas.

Wow, I’m avoiding those crosses. Also, According to this data one person died in 2010 and another in 2014 on the intersection of Illinois and Hampton. https://smartgrowthamerica.org/dangerous-by-design/
