Fences removed from Kidd Springs Park, finally

The City of Dallas repaired an enormous underground culvert at Kidd Springs Park, and those unsightly chainlink fences are gone.

The fences were installed several years ago because of the danger of sinkholes.

“With careful budgeting, we were able to make this capital improvement without the 2012 or 2017 bond program,” City Councilman Scott Griggs announced on Facebook.

Construction is expected to begin this year on the new pool at Kidd Springs Park.
