But the restaurant closed its Plano location Sunday after two-and-a-half years in business.

From the Smoke Plano Facebook page:

We will be relocating our current staff to our other restaurant concepts. We truly tried to make it work, but to put it simply there is no more gas left in the tank. Thank you for your support. We could not have made it this far without you.

The restaurant is owned by Oak Cliff-based Turn the Tables Restaurant Group, which also recently announced it is closing Bolsa Mercado at the end of this month.

In other restaurant news, Mi Lindo Oaxaca, the Mexican restaurant on Fort Worth Avenue at Bahama, is moving to West Davis.

The Dallas Observer reports that Mi Lindo is moving to the two-story restaurant at Willomet Avenue that most recently housed Little Havana.
