Winnetka Elementary robotics teams make national competition again

Two robotics teams from Winnetka Elementary School head to national competitions this spring.

The teams, called Vex Masters-224W and Wildbots-224X, beat out 37 other teams in the North Texas regional/state championship tournament on March 3.

That win qualified them for a national tournament in Louisville, Ky. April 29-May 1. They already also qualified for the second year in a row for a national competition in Iowa April 2-4.

The Winnetka robotics coaches are Jeremy Williams and Rodolfo Estrada.
