Townview student robbed at gunpoint

We thought the terror of Oak Cliff students being robbed at gunpoint was over, but no.

A student at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center was held up at gunpoint Friday, according to Fox 4. The TV station reports that the school sent out a letter to parents about the crime.

The robber took the student’s backpack near Interstate 35 and East Eighth Street, and the student was physically unharmed.

Two teenagers were arrested a couple of weeks ago in connection with a string of armed robberies that targeted high school and middle school student in Oak Cliff.
