A Houston-based developer wants to build 15 townhouses on Colorado Boulevard just west of Hampton Road.
A limited partnership related to Frank Liu of Lovett Commercial requested a change to allow a single-family development on a lot that’s zoned regional retail, a designation that allows big-box stores like CVS.
The lot comprises 3/4 acre and sits between Stevens Park Clinic and Lincoln Property Co.’s new retail development on Fort Worth Avenue at Colorado.
The townhomes would back up to Stevens Park Golf Course and have a shared driveway off of Anniels Drive. The developer states that no trees would be removed, and they would widen Anniels Drive by 3 feet.
