Debate about the geographical and cultural boundaries of Oak Cliff arose several times recently in conversation and among neighbors on the internet.
We tackled that topic back in 2015, with a story so cleverly titled “Where is Oak Cliff?” and most of what we wrote then still holds up.
One difference is that our editorial coverage has drifted away from strict geographical boundaries to which we once adhered. We try to give more and more attention to areas such as Red Bird and neighborhoods around South Oak Cliff High School. Although our focus emanates from what’s called North Oak Cliff, we love all of Oak Cliff.
