The movie, which filmed on Tyler Street Church and at Methodist Dallas Medical Center this week, is from Dallas-based production company Cinestate. That company’s first feature, “Bone Tomahawk,” received praise from film critics when it was released in 2015, and it’s currently available on Amazon Prime. Cinestate has filmed several movies since then in Dallas and the surrounding area, including “Satanic Panic,” “VFW” and the upcoming “Run, Hide, Fight.”

Here’s what “Till Death” is about: “Convicted felon Jimmy gets early parole after serving 12 years for armed robbery. Upon his release, he vows to give Annie, his childhood love who is dying from cancer, the best last year of her life. Unfortunately, it’s not that simple.”

Mike Colter, who starred in the Netflix series “Luke Cage,” shot some scenes at Methodist Dallas Tuesday, and the hospital sent us these photos.
