It’s fall in Oak Cliff, and that means lots of fun events are coming up on the calendar.

Here are a few to keep in mind.

Blues, Bandits and BBQ, one of Go Oak Cliff’s annual events, returns to Kidd Springs Park. The barbecue competition and festival is from noon-6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6.

Tickets cost $40 for one plate of barbecue and two drink tokens. Barbecue only costs $25, and drinks only costs $15. It’s pet-friendly, and there’s music all day long.

The Elmwood Fall Festival features pumpkins, games, costumes and autumnal vibes from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6. The free event is in the Elmwood business district.

Mission Oak Cliff’s first-ever benefit is from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11 at The Mason on South Beckley. The event includes live music, food and a silent auction. The keynote speaker is the Rev. Chris L. Simmons of Cornerstone Baptist Church. General admission tickets cost $250.
