Bags are covering bus stop signs across the city as Dallas Area Rapid Transit’s (DART) prepares to launch its new bus network on Jan. 24.
The bags on the signs announce to riders that routes they’d normally see on the sign are changing as part of DART Zoom. DART Zoom intends to match the growth of Dallas and expand access in it’s 13 service areas.
Bus number, bus routes and in some cases both, will change. DART will also expand its GoLink service from 17 zones to 30 zones starting on Dec. 6.
