A 44-year-old man died after a shooting in the 2800 block of West Davis Monday afternoon.
The Dallas Police Department responded to a call just after 1:30 p.m. and found Andre Tyron Rufus lying in the street with gunshot wounds.
Rufus was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.
“The motive and circumstances surrounding the murder are under investigation,” DPD says.
