Now that Mardi Gras is over, get ready for Oak Cliff’s next parade, whose theme is “puro party”.
Cinco de Mayo Dallas is planned for 10 a.m. Saturday, May 7, on Jefferson Boulevard.
The party goes until 2 p.m., and Jefferson will be jumping with a car show and DJs on every block, as well as a stage with live music and entertainment.

The City Councilmember who represents north Oak Cliff, Mayor Pro-Tem Chad West, will be the parade’s honorary chairman.
