A showcase of close-up magicians at Dallas College Mountain View Campus this week is free, with requested donations of canned food for the college’s food bank.

Grimes teaches English and sponsors the Mark Wilson Magic Club at Mountain View
“Families can expect lively interactive programs with lots of audience participation, from adults and children alike. Each show is delivered with only the finest of family-friendly acts,” Grimes says in a media release. “We have wonderful magical entertainers in the greater Dallas area. These friends love to come together to perform and the young minds in attendance always come away with newfound respect for the magic and mystery of a well-performed trick.”
The shows, 6-8 p.m. July 26-27, are in multi-purpose room B-149 on the Mountain View Campus, 4849 W. Illinois Ave.
