Police responded to a call for service in the 800 block of Westmoreland Road on Dec. 17 around 5:36 p.m. and found one man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police identified the victim as 52-year-old Ruben Alvarado-Montano. Alvarado-Montano was in a vehicle at the time police found him, and he was transported to an area hospital where he died from the injury.
The investigation into the homicide is ongoing, police say.
