The Kessler Mansion, located at 1177 Lausanne Ave., will be the first stop during Preservation Dallas’s 50th Anniversary home tour.

The tour will be held on April 15, kicking off at the Angelika Film Center for a 9:00 a.m. keynote speaker before a five-hour self guided tour of homes across the city.

The Kessler Mansion will be the first of five houses shown in the tour, which will show a variety of home-styles to demonstrate “how important it is to maintain the fabric of our historic neighborhoods.”

Built in 1925, the home tour will show off the Kessler Mansion’s “painstaking” restoration that has been underway for the last two years.

According to Zillow, the 5 bedroom 4.5 bathroom home is worth nearly $2.9 million.

Photos of the home show dark wood finishes throughout the house, dreamy sunrooms and a show-stealing swimming pool in the backyard.

Home tour tickets start at $60 for non-members of Preservation Dallas.
