Two historic residences from our neighborhood will be honored by Preservation Dallas during the organization’s 24th annual Preservation Achievement Awards ceremony.
The awards “share and honor inspiring preservation projects and people involved in preservation in the Dallas community.”
Both Oak Cliff awards will be given in the residential renovation and adaptive reuse category.
201 Landis, a residential renovation in the 10th Street Historic District, will be honored. 514 North Marsalis, a residential-to-office renovation in the Lake Cliff Historic District, will also receive an award in the category.
Four different Dallas-area counties are represented in the 2023 awards.
The geographic range of award winners “demonstrates that the culture of preservation is not only strong in our city, but a growing movement across our region,” said Norman Alston, President of Preservation Dallas.
The awards ceremony will take place on May 17 at the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights museum.
