Devarius Dontez Moore, who performs under the name Trapboy Freddy, now faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine up to $250,000. A date for sentencing has not been set.

According to the plea agreement, Moore will forfeit a Taurus TCP .380-caliber gun and “any ammunition or magazines seized” with the gun, WFAA reports.

Moore’s case was highly publicized last year after Dallas police and federal agents arrived to Moore’s home in the 2700 block of Meadowgate Lane to serve the weapons warrant and found the exotic cat inside.

Despite rumors that the tiger had been seen roaming the Wolf Creek neighborhood, police confirmed to media that the tiger remained in a cage the entire duration of their time involved with the case.

The tiger was taken to Dallas Animal Services and was transferred over to Texas Parks and Wildlife. It is illegal to keep tigers as pets in Dallas.
