A new Broadway-esque marquee is lighting up the corner of Jefferson and Bishop in Oak Cliff: “Tuxedo Club,” it reads.

Oooohh, what’s the Tuxedo Club, you asked, if you are a curious type who frequents Jefferson Avenue.

The answer, a med spa, might not have been your first guess and maybe is not the most exciting thing you could have dreamt up.

But the business’ Instagram feed makes the new neighborhood botox, filler and facial purveyors seem like a lot of fun.

The content has a 70s glam vibe—think Farah Fawcett, Studio 54, red lips, stiletto heels and VAMP-era Cher.

In a post announcing that the spa is “almost there,” director of operations Justin Cavazos says Tuxedo Club is a luxury outfit offering hair restoration, micro-needling and much more.

“We’re not 100% ready for guests,” Cavazos says in the video, “but our opening date is just around the corner.”

The Tuxedo Club is next door to Atomic Home Supply, near the Bishop Arts District. I’ve reached out to the company for more details, and we’ll keep you posted.
