The Indian-French restaurant has been closed for several months due to storm damage, Brian Reinhart at DMagazine reports. Reinhart said Âme is expected to reopen in a few weeks, but the Advocate was unable to ascertain a specific date.

The phone number listed for the restaurant has been disconnected, and messages to the Âme Instagram page and the hospitality group that runs Âme, the Nayeb Group, were not immediately answered.

While it is no longer possible to make reservations while the restaurant is closed, Google reviews suggest that is a recent update.

Several users left reviews stating that they were disappointed to find the restaurant closed after making reservations well in advance.

“I made a reservation on July 9th for August 13th (it was the first day available). We went there today (1 hour drive from home) to learn that it has been closed since MAY. Why are you booking reservations if you are not even open?” said reviewer Judy Romero Castillo.

While social media platforms for Âme make no mention of the closure, the Advocate will continue monitoring for any announcement of a reopening date.
