At the end of September, a list of recommended projects for the $1.1 Billion 2024 bond was released. The list of recommended projects was developed by the five City Council appointed Community Bond Subcommittees and has now been given to the bond task force who will finalize funding plans largely based on those recommendations.

Projects total tens of millions of dollars and span every corner of our neighborhood.

Notice a project missing from the map? Even if it didn’t make the recommended list, neighbors are able to show up to public bond task force meetings to continue advocating for projects important to them.

The Advocate is working to publish a series dedicated to sharing some of the recommended projects for each Oak Cliff city council district. While this is not an exhaustive list of every proposed project, we have aimed to highlight some of the big ticket proposals that could make the final bond package.

The District 1 list can be found here.
