Promise House opened in 1984 and has been a resource for young mothers and children in crisis.

“We appreciate the love and support we have received over the years and know we are leaving the campus and our Wesley Inn maternity program in wonderful hands,” the nonprofit’s website reads.

Promise House has been a well supported nonprofit in our neighborhood, collecting donations from Exxon Mobil and the Dallas Cowboys, and fundraising through events like golf tournaments over the years.

Jonathan’s Place was founded in 1991 to provide housing for under-served and at-risk children.

“We’re able to reach a sector of the community we hadn’t been able to in the past. We are excited to join forces,” Jonathan’s Place said.
