The Dallas Zoo is offering free admission to federal workers and their guests for tonight’s Community Night at the Dallas Zoo Lights.

In appreciation of their service and in recognition of the challenges faced during the recent government shutdown, the Dallas Zoo is extending a holiday thank you to all federal workers, according to a press release.

The free admission is available tonight for federal workers who may reserve up to 6 complimentary tickets. A valid federal employee ID is required upon entry.

Community Night is a Dallas Zoo designed thank you to neighbors and community partners, to provide the holiday lights experience at the lowest price of the season. 

Tonight’s Community Night features include:

  • Free admission for all federal workers (up to 6 tickets)
  • $12 admission for the general public
  • Timed entry at 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m.
  • Free parking for Dallas Zoo members, $14 parking for non-members
  • Zoo For All membership information table onsite
  • Access to the full Dallas Zoo Lights experience with no additional programming on tonight.
