Nora is back with a new location on Sylvan Avenue.
The third iteration of the Afghan-inspired establishment opened in November, after closing the six year run of Nora Restaurant and Bar at 205 N. Bishop Ave. this past summer.
“Goodbyes are not forever. They simply mean: see you soon,” the May 2 post read. “To our Nora family, thank you for the laughter, the clinking glasses, and the memories that will stay with us forever.”
The new space, Nora Bar and Grill, is “designed with families in mind” to create an environment for guests of all ages to be able to enjoy Afghan flavors, according to the website.
Chef Matt Pikar previously owned Nora in Lower Greenville until 2014 prior to the Bishop Arts location. He returns with a menu that includes appetizers, salads, a variety of kebabs and three desserts along with a full bar.
The new location is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
Nora Bar and Grill is located at 1888 Sylvan Ave., Suite F120.
