Accused shooter barricades himself in Oak Cliff home

A 30-year-old man barricaded himself inside an Oak Cliff home Friday after a shooting.

Police charged Antonio Medina Jr. with assault family violence Friday. He’s accused of shooting a 23-year-old man inside the home in the 2400 block of Sharon Street around 8:30 p.m.

The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police shut down South Hampton between Wilton and Brandon for several hours during the standoff.

Medina is in the Dallas County Jail with bail set at $50,000.
