Oak Cliff school closes because of flu

Bishop Dunne Catholic School closed today and will reopen Tuesday as a high number of teachers and student have come down with the flu over the past two weeks.

The school will use these four days to clean and disinfect the building, and students are being instructed online.

The flu has killed 106 people in the Dallas area this winter, including a 37-year-old Oak Cliff woman. Several other schools have closed as the flu has taken hold, including Jesuit College Preparatory School.
