Two people were injured Wednesday morning in the 300 block of Centre Street.
Gunfire hit five vehicles and two people at about 12:30 a.m., according to the Dallas Morning News. The victims were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Two suspects fled the scene. One was arrested, and one got away.
Several incidents of violence have erupted at that location over the past few years. A man was stabbed to death in the 200 block of West Jefferson in July.
At least two people were assaulted there in October 2016., and someone was stabbed during a fight there in December 2016.
