Black Swan Yoga celebrates its grand opening in the Bishop Arts District from 6-9 p.m. Saturday. Black Swan, which started in Austin in 2009, is exclusively donation-based. The studio has no lobby, no contract is required, and instructors are free to teach how they want.
It’s also the grand opening party for their Bishop Arts neighbor, Trompo. The taco shop opened its second location about two months ago.
The fifth-annual Cranksgiving Dallas scavenger hunt starts at 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 17 at Local Hub Bicycle Co. in Deep Ellum. The outing leads riders to grocery stores where they buy food for The Stewpot’s Thanksgiving meal. Community Beer Co. is sponsoring the after party at Local Hub, which is owned by Oak Cliff resident Kristie Holt.
