Neighborhood rapper Trapboy Freddy released a new album Aug. 25 titled All Odds Against Me. The album was released while Trapboy Freddy, whose legal name is Devarius Dontez Moore, awaits sentencing for the federal weapons charge he pled guilty to in May.

Notably, the album cover is decorated in headlines from CNN, the Dallas Morning News, WFAA and other news outlets who covered his notorious arrest, during which Dallas police and federal agents found a tiger cub in Moore’s home in the  2700 block of Meadowgate Lane.

Red string connects the handful of news articles to a mugshot of Moore at the center of the album, and the final song on the record is titled “Feds Watching.”

While Moore initially claimed innocence on the federal weapons charge, he pled guilty in May to avoid further charges. Once sentenced, Moore will face up to 10 years in prison and a fine up to $250,000.

Officials said the found tiger was taken to Dallas Animal Services before being transferred over to Texas Parks and Wildlife. It is illegal to keep tigers as pets in Dallas, but at the time Moore’s aunt, Paula Biggurs, told WFAA Moore was in the process of getting paperwork for the pet.

Unrelated to Moore, police found yet another tiger in Southern Dallas while executing a search warrant last Friday.

Authorities said they were executing an animal-cruelty investigation in the 5700 block of Johnson Lane, near Paul Quinn College, when they found the tiger and an unspecified number of chickens and dogs.

The tiger was found in an enclosure on the property, and Dallas police say charges are pending.
