Dallas ISD is finalizing the recommendations for the 2026 bond before it heads to the workshop next week.
Currently, the district’s Bond Steering Committee is collecting input through the Community Survey which closes Dec. 16. The committee has been meeting since March to assess the needs of the community by department in order to have the best impact for the students.
Additionally, trustees for each district of Dallas ISD have hosted info nights to educate the community on what the bond could be. These meeting go over everything from outlining the district’s long-term vision for campus and facility improvements to focusing in on the essential investments needed to support the future of Dallas ISD students.
The final community meeting ahead of Dec. 18 committee recommendations will be held Monday, Dec. 15 at 6 p.m. at D.A. Hulcy STEAM Middle School.
